Walk 4 Autism
What began as a simple effort to help their cousin has turned into a county-wide crusade for two local teens. Elizabeth and Erica Sluder wanted to do something for their four year-old cousin Zach after he was diagnosed with autism. So, they organized a walk to raise money. One after another, local merchants, civic groups, and residents embraced the plan.
Already a huge success, the event is scheduled for April 5th at the Belen High School track. Donations will be accepted at the walk and also on their website – www.walk4autism.com.

Clemens Goes to Washington
I have admired Roger Clemens for many years and always believed that he simply worked harder than anyone else to achieve his remarkable feats in baseball. To be fair, I have been very critical of Barry bonds and still consider Hank Aaron the home run king.
While it is certain that McNamee is a habitual liar, it is not possible that Roger Clemens is telling the whole truth IMO. So sad.
Obama Sweeps Hillary
The recent primary victories by Barack Obama have left Hillary Clinton and her campaign in turmoil. As if the Presidential election needed more drama, Obama and Clinton may arrive at the convention in a delegate deadlock.
As expected, Barack Obama took still another sweep in Maryland, Virginia and The District of Columbia. Having already won in Louisiana, Nebraska and Washington State, Barack Obama’s sweep puts Clinton in an awkward position and is the first serious threat to her election as the Democratic nominee for President.
War of the Holy Books
The Christian Post has a great article about the ongoing holy war between Christianity and Islam. Many believe that Christianity will win the war because of the widespread availability of the Christian Bible.
Why isn’t the Koran widely translated and distributed? The Koran must be memorized in the original Arabic and cannot be changed in any way according to conservative Imams.
Sounds like all the sound and fury of the debate over the King James Version. “Only 1611 will do!”
