    Hi, I am Bruce

Bruce L. Baker leads a diverse career with experience in non-profit leadership, project management, business development, and cybersecurity consultations.

Currently, Bruce provides leadership to Carey Baptist Association, a non-profit ministry that connects churches and service groups with meeting community needs. Carey Association has a local chapter of one of the largest disaster relief organizations in the country. He serves on the board for the SWLA VOAD as well as an informal disaster relief working group formed by the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Bruce has served on numerous non-profit boards in four states. In this same area, he holds degrees in philosophy and theology, served as pastor for multiple churches, and taught theology and philosophy at the high school and university level.

After founding Cleanzone in 1998, Bruce taught business owners how to improve their cybersecurity footprint. While Bruce no longer works full-time in cybersecurity, he continues to stay connected to the field.  He still maintains his CISSP certification and contributes to the Louisiana chapter of the FBI’s InfraGard. During his career, he developed sophisticated computer security products while serving as the VP of Information Security at Gibraltar Group Risk Management. Having taught college courses on computer science for several years, Bruce hopes to return to the classroom if he ever actually retires.

Bruce is married with three grown children and five grand-children. Bruce and his wife Penny live in Sulphur, LA and are active in their church as well as ministries that address racial reconciliation, poverty, and affordable housing. Also, he has a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.Div. in Theology, and a D.Min. with concentration in Philosophy and Theology.

You won’t get much support from Bruce regarding conspiracy theories but he is willing to engage in the debate if you will avoid name calling and stick to the facts.
