I just read the letter from House Democrats to Robert Iger, CEO of Disney, demanding that ABC edit/censor “Path to 9/11.” Representatives Conyers, Dingell, Harman and Slaughter acknowledge that while they have not actually seen the mini-series but they are concerned it might have some innaccuracies in it.
I will be writing to thank them for their unflinching commitment to truth. Further, I will be requesting a copy of their letter to Michael Moore as he was getting ready to release “Fahrenheit 911.“

ABC is now the PR arm of the ‘Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.’ Surely hell has frozen over. According to Blog for America, ABC, arguably the most liberal news and television network, is committed to teaching right-wing propaganda with its new mini-series, “Path to 9/11.”
Are we talking about the same ABC that fawned over Michael Moore and his biased ball of lies? The same ABC whose news anchor, Peter Jennings, stated on-air that he hoped fans booed President Bush in the World Series just after the 9/11 attacks? Read more... (estimated 33 secs)

Members of Clinton administration are putting enormous pressure on ABC to rewrite or kill their mini-series, “Path to 9/11.” Previewers have called the series a “docudrama” on the one hand and a “deeply serious” portrayal of events leading up to 9/11.
Which is it? Tune in next week. You can be somewhat assured that someone is rewriting history.

I have been asked to participate in our local observance of 9/11 and will do so happily. In researching what I could do to honor our fallen heroes I discovered a fabulous project to recognize every victim of this horrific act of cowardly terroism. The website is 2996 – A tribute to the victims of 9/11
It is my privilege to join in this worthwhile effort. Blessings to those that have worked so hard to create and sustain the project.

After seeing "World Trade Center" this weekend, I resolved to post thanks and encouragement to the blog or website of every member of the American military I stumbled across. Regardless of their politics, gender, ethnicity or social standing, these men and women are heroes. I am happy to thank Michael Gallaugher living in Worcester County, Massachusetts first. His website has been added to the blogroll. Blessings!
