It is interesting because I was very familiar with Senator Dodd during the election for Democratic nominee and you shed new light on him. Most importantly things such as negative amortization and lack of fiduciary duties have been pivotal in causing investment banks to collapse. I know this point may disagree with your views, but I believe that some federal oversight is necessary to prevent former executives such as (criminal) Jim Johnson from acting out of good faith.
